Christopher Ernst is an artist currently based in Western New York.

"My visual art practice integrates film, video, new media, and photography. I am equally as invested in the self-reflexivity of structural film as I am in the hypermediacy of multichannel video installation. My engagement with moving images is not limited to cinema, and my current practice centers on developing hybrid, screen-based media that assimilates multiple cinematic and photographic forms, exploring the moving image as an object of visual communication."
