BIOGRAPHY
Christopher Ernst is a media artist currently based in Buffalo, New York and a founding member of the film and video-art collective Octopus. Christopher is equally as invested in the self-reflexivity of structural film as he is in the hypermediacy of multichannel video installation and his practice stretches across genres ranging from experimental narrative to video art. His work has been exhibited internationally and he is the recipient of a number of arts grants and academic awards. Christopher received his BA in Film & Music from Hampshire College and his MFA from the Department of Media Study, SUNY at Buffalo.
